How IPL Technology Works
The iLIGHT
®
device utilizes proven,
light-based technology that has been
in use globally for decades. The device
ashes your skin with an intense pulse
of ltered light, only allowing carefully
selected wavelengths through to the skin.
In rare cases, users may see an increase
in the number of hairs growing. This
increase is usually temporary and
due to hair growth cycles. However,
for beginning users, if you believe
the number of hairs regrowing in the
treated area has increased since you
started treatment, stop using the device
and contact Customer Service.
Swelling may occur, especially around
hair follicles where the skin is slightly
higher than surrounding areas. If the
swelling doesn’t go away within 2-3
days, stop using the device and contact
Customer Service.
The device emits light energy that
penetrates deep into the skin to reach
the hair root.
The heat stuns the active hair follicles,
which disrupts the hair growth cycle
and prevents future growth.
Treated hair typically falls out within
7-10 days.
The device delivers energy that
penetrates beneath the skins surface to
reach the root of the hair follicle, which is
responsible for hair growth.
