Depending on the vehicle, the seat-
back A or B may be folded away.
To fold the back A or B
Ensure that the front seats are far
enough forward.
Lower the rear headrests completely

Lift the knob 1 and fold back the seat-
back A or B .
Depending on the vehicle, rear seat is
fitted with armrest 2 and cup holder 3 .
Open/close the armrest 2 along the ar-
row direction to access the cup holder

Ensure the absence of
objects in the armrest
cavity before closing the
armrest 2 to its initial po-
sition.
Always keep the arm rest in
closed position when not in use.
When refitting the seat
back, make sure it is
correctly locked in place.
If seat covers are fit
ted, make sure these do not pre-
vent the seatback latch from lock-
ing in.
Make sure that the seat belts are
positioned correctly.
Check that the rear seat belts are
positioned and operating correctly
each time the rear seat is moved.
Never allow anyone to ride in the
luggage area or on second row
seat when it is in the fold-down
position. Use of these areas by
passengers without proper re-
straints could result in serious in-
jury in an accident or sudden
stop.
Properly secure all luggage to
help prevent it from sliding or
shifting. Do not place luggage
higher than the backrest.
When operating the backrest, be
careful not to scratch or damage
seat belts.
