BONNET
Opening the bonnet
To open the bonnet, pull the
handle 1
Take care when working
under the bonnet as the
engine cooling fan may
sar 10 Operate at any
moment
Before closing the bonnet, ensure
nothing has been Jeff in the
engine Compartnent.
Bonnet safety lock
To unlock, lift catch 2.
Lift the bonnet, release stay 4 from
its holders 5 and, for your own
safety, it is very important to fix it
into retainer 3 in the bonnet.
To close the bonnet, replace stay 4
in its holders 5, hold the bonnet in
the middle and lower it 8 inches
(20 cm) above the closed position,
then release it. It will latch
automatically under its own weight.
Check that the bonnet is
properly latched,
