If an electrical component fails to
operate, check that the fuses are
sound before making further
investigations.
Open cover A by turning buttons 1
90 degrees.
To identify the fuses, refer to label 3
_ (shown on the page opposite).
It is not advisable to use the free
fuse locations.

Check the fuse in question
and replace it, if necessary,
by a fuse of the same
rating.
If you fit an over-rated fuse, it may
cause the electrical circuit to
overheat (risk of fire) in the event of
an item of equipment drawing an
excessive current.

Use tweezers to remove fuse 4.
To remove the fuse from the
tweezers, slide the fuse to the side.
A wise precaution:
Obtain a box of spare bulbs and
fuses from your RENAULT
Dealer.
