OPERATING
FAULTS
The
following
advice
will
enable
you
to
carry
out
quick,
albeit
temporary
repairs.
For
safety
reasons
you
should
always
contact
a
RENAULT
Dealer
as
soon
as
you
can.
When
starter
is
activated
¢
There
is
no
a
ope the
indicator
lights
fail
to
light
up
and
the
starter
does
not
turn.
CAUSES
Battery
lead
disconnected
terminals
oxidised.
Discharged
battery.
Battery
unserviceable.
or
REMEDIAL
ACTION
Check
battery
terminals:
scrape
and
clean
if
oxidised
and
re-tighten.
Connect
another
battery
to
the
faulty
battery.
Replace
battery.
¢
Warning
light
bulbs
go
dim
and
starter
turns
very
slowly.
Battery
terminals
not
tight.
Battery
terminals corroded.
Discharged
battery.
Check
battery
terminals:
scrape and
clean
if
oxidised
and
re-tighten.
Connect
another
battery
to
the
faulty
battery.

The
flash.
fuel
level
indicator
blocks
5.32
The
fuel
gauge
is
disconnected.
Contact
a
RENAULT
Dealer.
