mode

This
mode
may
be
selected
at
any
time
when
the
vehicle
is
being
driven
in
automatic
mode,
by
pustiing
the
lever
to
the
left.
The
etter
N
appears
on
the
display.
You
can
initiate
gear
changes
using
the
selector
lever.
To
move
up
through
the
gears
simply
push
the
selector
lever
backwards,
there
is
no
need
to
release
the
accelerator.
To
move
down
through
the
gears
simply
push
the
selector
lever
backwards
without
necessarily
releasing
the
accelerator.

The
system
will
not
tolerate
a
series
of
up
or
down
changes
that
cause
the
engine
to
underrev
or
overrev.
By
pushing
the
lever
forwards
twice
you
can
move
up
two
gears
at
a
time
(except
if
underrevvin,
).
By
pushing
the
lever
backwards
twice
you
can
move
down
two
gears
ata
time
(unless
overrevving).
When
decelerating
with
your
foot
off
the
pedal,
the
gears
wil
automatically
drop
to
the
low
speed
limit
to
avoid
stalling.
First
gear
automatically
passes
below
a
certain
speed
limit.
You
can
stop
the
vehicle
at
red
lights
or
junctions
etc.
by
depressing
the
brake
pedal,
there
is
no
need
to
shift
to
neutral
(N).
AA
The
vehicle
will
move
off
again:
_
either
slowly,
if
you
release
the
brake
without
accelerating
(eg.
when
in
a
traffic
jam)
-
or
quickly,
if
you
release
the
brake
and
accelerate.
Note:
neutral
may
only
be
selected
when
the
vehicle
is
being
driven
or
ig
stationary
when
the
brake
pedal
is
depressed
(if
you
forget,
warning
light
2
will
light
up).
Push
the
gear
lever
to
the
right
to
engage
neutral.
Moving
from
one
mode
to
another
can
be
performed
with
the
engine
running,
at
any
time
and
in
all
gears.
If
the
engine
is
being
overrevved
or
underevved,
the
system
will
select
the
optimal
gear.
