any circumstances replace the
vigilance or the responsibility of

spare wheel, once a month.
Operating conditions
In order to provide a reliable warning in
the event of pressure loss, the system
mustberesetwithaninflationpres

thetyreinflationpressurelabel(refer
ence values) 🡺323.
Resetting should always be carried
out after checking the tyre pressure
of all four tyres when cold.
In the following situations, the system
riskcomingintoactionlateornotfunc
tioning correctly:
– system not reset after reinflation or
any operation on the wheels;
– incorrectlyresetsystem:tyrepres
sures different from the recommended
pressures;
– significantchangeinloadordistribu

– sportydrivingwithstrongaccelera
tion;
– driving on snowy or slippery surface;
– driving with snow chains;
– fitting a single new tyre;
– useoftyresnotapprovedbythenet
work.
The tyre pressure must be
checked before starting the
resetting procedure. The
system will not issue a warning if
the pressure does not correspond
to the recommended pressure.
Thesuddenlossofpres
sure in a tyre (burst tyre,
etc.) cannot be immediately
detected by the system.
Procedure for resetting the
standard levels for the tyre
pressures
This should be performed:
– after each re-inflation or resetting of
tyre pressure;
– after changing a wheel;
– after changing wheels around.
Tyre pressures must correspond to the
current usage of the vehicle (empty,
carrying a load, motorway driving,
etc.).Respectthetyrepressures(in
cluding the emergency spare wheel).
Check them at least once a month and
before every long journey (refer to the
labelontheedgeofthedriver’s
door🡺323).
