Maintenance - 125

Check the coolant level regularly (very
severe damage is likely to be caused
to the engine if it runs out of coolant).
If the level needs to be topped up, only
use products approved by our Techni-
cal Department which ensure
– antifreeze protection ;
– an anti-corrosion protection of the
cooling system.
Replacement intervals
Refer to the Maintenance Schedule for
your vehicle.
Consult an approved dealer
at once if you notice an ab-
normal or repeated drop in
any of the fluid levels.
No operations should be
carried out on the cool-
ing circuit when the en-
gine is hot.
Risk of burns.
Before carrying out any
action in the engine
compartment, you must
switch off the ignition.
For your safety, do not
remove the bonnet hold-
ing straps.
Risk of the bonnet
falling on the road surface.
Windscreen washer reservoir
Topping up
Engine switched off :
– open the cap

– pull the extending funnel upwards as
far as it will go ;
– fill until you can see the fluid ;
– push the funnel by pressing on it and
replace the cap.
Liquid
Screen wash product (product with an-
tifreeze in winter).
Filters
The filter elements (cabin filter etc.)
should be replaced during the mainte-
nance operations carried out on your
vehicle.
Replacement intervals for filter ele
ments : refer to the Maintenance Doc-
ument for your vehicle.
When working under the
bonnet, the bonnet may
be hot. The engine cool-
ing fan may also start at
any moment.
