PRE-AMP TUBES - Use 12AX7 type only. Replace when noisy or malfunctioning. Selected
tubes available from Reverend.
1st PRE-AMP TUBE - This is the tube farthest to the right when facing the back of the amp.
12AX7 is stock, however a 12AT7 tube may be substituted for more clean headroom - see
Sample Settings.
POWER TUBES - Replace with matched set of 6L6 type ONLY. Replace when amp sounds
too soft, lacks clarity and volume, or if tubes are noisy or malfunctioning. Use set with
current draw rating of 46 to 49, or in the manufacturer’s middle range (for example 4,5,6 on
a scale of 1 to 10). Amp has NO bias adjustment - install tubes and use. Rated tubes
available from Reverend.
WARRANTY
Amps - one year limited warranty against defective workmanship or materials. Speakers and
tubes - 30 days.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
HUM - Some hum is normal when the VOL is over 50% because you are opening up the
power section of a high wattage, loud tube amp. This will be noticeable in a small quiet
room. However, excessive hum can be caused by electronic devices located near the amp
or on the same circuit such as fridges, fluorescent lights, computers, light dimmers,
aquarium pumps, etc. Hum can vary with different outlets, rooms or buildings.
REVERB TANK - The reverb tank should NOT be mounted tight to the cabinet. A small
amount of freeplay is required to prevent vibration feedback.
SAMPLE
SETTINGS:
Note: These settings are recommended for the 112 combo. Use with a 410 or 412 cabinet
may require increased TREB and decreased BASS to reproduce the same settings.
