MAINTENANCE
Disassembly
1. Unscrew plugs (252), (26) and empty the oil
from gearbox.
2. Unlock bolts (25) and take away cover (24).
3. Disassemble oil seal (4), cap (20) using a
chisel and hammer.
4. Disassemble snap rings (6), shims (7).
5. Hit the shaft (5), from side A, using chisel and
hammer and disassemble it from housing (1).
6. Pick up crown wheel (2) and inner ring (3).
7. Disassemble bearing (19), using pipe and
hammer, from the shaft (5).
8. Disassemble inner ring (3) from the shaft (5),
using chisel and hammer.
