4.2.3 JAM1 (FUSING AREA OR AROUND THE TONER
CARTRIDGE AREA)
Perform the following to remove a jam of this type:
NOTE:
The fusing area is hot. Use caution when removing paper from this area of
the machine.
1. Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge.
2. Remove the jammed paper by gently pulling it straight out.
3. Replace the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Printing should resume
automatically.
