6.11.2 CHARGE ROLLER VOLTAGE CORRECTION
Correction for Ambient Environment
Efficiency of voltage transfer from the charge roller to the drum decreases as
ambient temperature and humidity rise. Accordingly, the charge roller voltage
must be made more negative at higher temperature and humidity.
When Correction is Made
• At initial warm-up (following power-on by main switch)
• During warm-up on exit from low-power or auto-off mode, if that mode has been
in effect for at least 4 hours (Time set by SP2-995)
NOTE: Correction can be disabled with SP2-927.
