Canceling a Memory Transmission
Canceling the Transmission
Before the Original is Scanned
Use this procedure to cancel a transmis-
sion after the original has been scanned.

❒ When documents are placed in
the Document Feeder (ADF),
you can cancel the transmission
by just removing them.
Canceling a Transmission While
the Original is Being Scanned
Use this procedure to cancel a transmis-
sion after the original has been scanned.

{Clear/Stop}
}}
} key.
The machine will stop storing the
original and the data will not be
sent.
Note
❒ You can cancel a transmission
also by pressing [Stop Scanning].
Canceling a Transmission
During Transmission Standby
Mode
Use this procedure to cancel a trans-
mission after the original has been
scanned.
Limitation
❒ You cannot cancel the pages which
already have been sent to the desti-
nation even if you cancel a trans-
mission.
❒ If transmission finishes while you
are carrying out this procedure, it
will not be canceled.
Note
❒ If you cancel a message while it is
being sent, transmission is halted
as soon as you finish this proce-
dure. However, some pages of
your message may have already
been sent and will be received at
the other end.

The list of stored files being trans-
mitted or awaiting transmission is
displayed.
