COUNTER RESET
This initializes all the print counters in the controller NVRAM. Refer to the service
summary report for the counters in the controller NVRAM.
1. Enter the Printer SP mode, and select “1. Service Menu”.
2. Select “H. Counter Clear”, then press [Enter].
3. Press [Enter] to reset all the print counters.
4. Press [Enter] to execute. Or press [Cancel] to exit.
4.3.3 POWER-ON DIAGNOSTICS ERROR DISPLAY
This displays the latest 8 error codes that were found during the power-on self-test.
Refer to chapter 6 (Troubleshooting) for details of the error codes.
1. Enter the Printer SP mode, and select “1. Service Menu”.
2. Select “I. Diag. Error”, then press [Enter].
3. Check the error codes on the LCD.
• [UP] [DOWN]: Move to the previous/next page.
4. Press [Cancel] to exit.
4.3.4 SERVICE SUMMARY
This prints a summary of all the controller settings.
1. Enter the Printer SP mode, and select “1. Service Menu”.
2. Select “J. Service Print”, then press [Enter].
3. Press [Enter] again to print the report.
Model Number / System Version / Unit Number
Lists the machine’s Plug&Play name, controller firmware version, and the controller
part number.
Program List
Lists the firmware module version.
Bit Switch
List the current bit switch settings.
NOTE:
The bit switches are not actually used at the moment.
