Status Monitor Function
The status monitor provides the following two
major functions:
Monitor printer status
Troubleshooting guide
1. Product Outline
Monitor printer status
The status monitor window shows on the PC screen if an error occurs while
printing.
This feature can also show when the print job is completed.
Troubleshooting guide
Troubleshooting guide comes with the Status Monitor.
Double click the status monitor icon to access the guide.
The guide is flash movie that lets you find solutions for the following:
¾ Clearing paper jams
¾ Loading paper
¾ Closing covers
¾ Installing the toner cartridge
¾ Solving system errors
