When “Remove Misfeed Z2:Dup.Feed Unit”

You can remove misfed paper from the duplex feed unit by following the proce-
dure below.
❒ When a paper misfeed occurs in the duplex feed unit, the printer usually
sends the misfed paper to the right cover, so there is no need to execute this
procedure. See p.138 “
When “Remove Misfeed A:Internal Path” Appears”.
❒ Be sure to remove misfed paper by following the procedure below when the
“Remove Misfeed Z2:Dup.Feed Unit” message appears on the display.
A Turn off the power, and then unplug the power cable.
B Slowly open the front cover of the printer, remove the green screwdriv-
er.

C Remove the screw fastening the duplex feed unit using the provided
screwdriver.
You will use this screw to refasten the duplex feed unit later.
