with models having this tray)

If the
Down
key is not lit, press it
to lower the bottom plate. The
key will blink while the bottom
plate is moving down.

If the key is lit or blinking, proceed to
step 2.

After the
Down
key stops blinking
and lights, open the cover.

Load paper into the tray (not
more than 1,000 sheets).
The paper stack must be flush
with the left side.
4
Close the cover.
