5. Remove the cleaning blade [1] (Springs x2, x 2).
Reinstallation
Do the following SP codes after replacing the drum and cleaning blade.
• After Drum Replacement:
SP2923
Drum Set Mode. Applies toner to the drum and blade to reduce friction
between the drum and cleaning blade. As a result of this, the blade will not
bend and will not scratch the surface of the drum.
SP3001 002 ID Sensor Setting – Initial Setting. Initializes the ID sensor.
• After Blade Replacement
SP2923
Drum Set Mode – Execute. Applies toner to the drum and blade to reduce
friction between the drum and cleaning blade. This prevents the blade from
bending or scratching the surface of the drum.
