<One sheet pushing out another or sheets becoming crimped>
The auxiliary tray is not attached.
If using paper of Paper Weight 3 or lower, attach the auxiliary tray for thin
coated paper.
For details about attaching the auxiliary tray for thin coated paper, see "Using
Thin Coated Paper" in the Troubleshooting supplied with the machine.
If using paper of Paper Weight 4 or higher, attach the auxiliary paper tray.
For details about attaching the auxiliary paper tray, see "Using Thick Coated
Paper" in the Troubleshooting supplied with the machine.
Sheets are curled downward.
<If the decurler unit is attached>
1.
In the [Adjustment Settings for Skilled Operators] menu, set [0116: Adjust
Paper Curl] to "Adjust Curl".
To control the level of decurling, select "Weak" if the present setting is "Off"
or "Strong" if the present value is "Weak".
<If the decurler unit is not attached>
1.
Load the sheets the other way up.
Note:
If problems persist and sheets cannot be stacked properly, attach the auxiliary
tray for thin coated paper of Paper Weight 4 or higher, or attach the auxiliary
paper tray for paper of Paper Weight 3 or lower.
If the auxiliary tray is attached, the number of sheets that can be stacked is
reduced.
If the auxiliary tray for thin coated paper is attached, the range of misalignment of
the last print may exceed 2 mm (0.08 inches) if the Shift Collate function is used.
