6.3 OPTICAL HOUSING UNIT
6.3.1 OPTICAL PATH
The laser beam moves as follows:
1. The laser diode unit [D] emits the laser beam.
2. The cylinder lens [E] condenses the laser beam.
3. The polygon mirror [I] reflects the laser beam.
4. The F-theta (F-θ) Lens [G] focuses the laser beam on the first mirror.
5. The first mirror [B] reflects the laser beam.
6. The second mirror [H] reflects the laser beam.
7. The barrel toroidal lens [F] focuses the laser beam on the third mirror, and
ensures uniform pixel spacing and diameter.
8. The third mirror [A] reflects the laser beam.
9. The fourth mirror [C] reflects the laser beam.
