Overview

The device is an 18V Pruner, also referred to as a Secateur or Tijeras de podar, designed for cutting and trimming small limbs and branches. It is a battery-operated tool, emphasizing portability and ease of use without the need for power cords.

Function Description

The pruner is primarily used for cutting small limbs and branches up to 1-1/4 inches (31.8 mm) in diameter. It operates with a trigger mechanism, where pressing the trigger activates the motor and closes the blades to make a cut. The device is designed for single-hand operation, making it convenient for various pruning tasks. It utilizes a rechargeable 18V lithium-ion battery, which provides power for the motor. The battery pack is inserted into a dedicated slot on the pruner, and its removal is necessary for charging and storage.

Maintenance Features

  1. Cleaning the Pruner:
    • Remove the battery pack before cleaning.
