The RIKO Vario is a versatile baby stroller system designed for the safe and comfortable transport of infants and young children. It features a modular design, allowing for different configurations such as a bassinet, a forward-facing seat, and a rear-facing seat. The stroller is equipped with a robust frame, adjustable components, and safety features to ensure the well-being of the child. It is suitable for use from birth up to 36 months of age, or until the child reaches a maximum weight of 15 kg.
Important Technical Specifications
- Age/Weight Range: Suitable for children from 0-36 months, with a maximum weight capacity of 15 kg.
- Basket Load: The maximum load for the storage basket is 3 kg.
- Bag Load: The maximum load for the attached bag is 2 kg.
- Tire Pressure: Maximum permissible tire pressure is 0.8 bar (regardless of indications on the tires). Exceeding this pressure can damage the rim.
- Temperature Range: The permissible operating temperature range for the stroller is from -5°C to +35°C.
- Mattress Thickness (Bassinet): Do not use an additional mattress thicker than 10mm in the bassinet.

- Lubrication: Regularly maintain moving parts with fast-evaporating cleaning and lubricating agents (e.g., WD-40) to ensure smooth operation.
- Safety Checks: Periodically check the adjustment of safety belts and other adjustable elements.
- Wheel and Brake Maintenance: Regularly clean wheels, brakes, and suspension elements from sand, salt, and other contaminants. Avoid using lubricant in areas where sand may enter.
- Saltwater Contact: Avoid contact with saltwater (sea water, sea breeze, road salt) to prevent corrosion.
- Storage: Store the stroller in a place inaccessible to children.
- Original Parts: Only use original parts approved by the manufacturer.
- Additional Mattress: Do not use an additional mattress thicker than 10mm in the bassinet.
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty Period: RIKO provides a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
- Claim Procedure: Claims should be reported at the point of purchase. A properly completed warranty card and proof of purchase are required for a claim.
- Repair Service: Physical defects arising during the warranty period will be rectified free of charge within 14 days of delivery to RIKO's headquarters via the distributor. Repairs are performed by RIKO or an authorized service provider.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by user error.
- Damage resulting from non-compliance with the instructions, warnings, and restrictions in the manual.
- Normal wear and tear of components such as tires, tubes, rubber profiles, handle materials, fabric and plastic structure/color, wheel bushings, axles, and inscriptions.
- Damage resulting from failure to observe maintenance conditions (e.g., corrosion, discoloration of upholstery/plastic due to prolonged sun exposure or high temperatures, play/squeaking/creaking noises, damage to mechanisms due to contamination).
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs.
- Vertical deviation of individual wheels under load (a typical characteristic for this type of structure).
- Damage and contamination due to improper packaging during courier delivery (for products purchased via mail order).
- Warranty Extension: The warranty period is extended by the time the product is undergoing repair at a RIKO service center.
- Claim Resolution: The method of repair is determined by the warrantor.
- Product Condition: The claimed product must be delivered in a clean condition.
- Geographical Scope: The warranty is valid within the European Union.
- Consumer Rights: The warranty does not exclude or suspend the buyer's rights arising from non-compliance of the product with the contract.
