Function Description

The Royal Kludge mechanical keyboard is a versatile input device designed for both wired and wireless connectivity. It features a compact 61-key layout, making it suitable for users who prefer a minimalist setup or require portability. The keyboard supports multiple connection methods, including wired (Type-C cable), Bluetooth (BT), and 2.4GHz wireless, offering flexibility for different usage scenarios. Usage Features

Wired Mode & Charging:

  3. To connect via Bluetooth, the user needs to select one of three available Bluetooth channels (Q, W, E). A short press of Fn + Q/W/E will switch between these channels. To enter pairing mode for a specific channel, a long press of Fn + Q/W/E is required. This allows the keyboard to be discovered and paired with a Bluetooth-enabled device.

• 2.4GHz Connection:

  1. Switch the physical toggle on the keyboard to the "ON" position.
  2. Switch the mode selector to "G" for 2.4GHz.
  3. Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on the computer. The keyboard will automatically connect to the dongle.

Backlight Control:

The keyboard's backlight can be customized using various Fn key combinations:

• Fn + \| (backslash/pipe key): Switches between different backlight modes.
• Fn + ]} (right bracket/brace key): Increases backlight brightness.
• Fn + [{ (left bracket/brace key): Decreases backlight brightness.
• Fn + > (greater than key): Switches backlight color (for RGB versions only).
• Fn + ," (comma/double quote key): Increases backlight speed.
• Fn + :: (colon/semicolon key): Decreases backlight speed.

  • Fn + F10: Mute

• BT Mode: Requires a device with Bluetooth 3.0 or later. Compatible with Windows 7 or later, macOS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or later, all iPads/iPhone 5 or later, and Android 5.0 Lollipop or later.
