What to do if path errors occur in RMG USM GT400 Measuring Instruments?
    • S
      Stacey MillerAug 1, 2025
Path errors in RMG Measuring Instruments can occur due to unsuitable operating conditions, contamination/condensation, or transducer/wiring malfunctions. To resolve this, consider the following: * Change the operating conditions or adapt the parameters to the desired mode of operation. * Check the wiring and plug connectors for contamination or condensation. * Have qualified personnel check for transducer or wiring defects and replace the transducer if needed.

Why is the speed of sound at the limit values on my RMG USM GT400 Measuring Instruments?
    • P
      Paul DiazAug 17, 2025
The speed of sound in RMG Measuring Instruments might be at limit values (± 500 m/s) because you are using a gas with a strongly deviating speed of sound or because strongly deviating speeds of sound are expected. A parameterization must be carried out. Alternatively, activate the 'Signal Tracking' function in AI-27 to adjust the speed of sound range of the evaluation window.
