3.3. This is a good time to get some stuff for spring cleaning of your Roadtrek, so drive around for an hour. Let it sit for a
couple more hours.
4.4. Open the connecting valve to the exterior tank and let mixture drain into that tank.
5.5. Open the exterior tank drain valve and drain both tanks. This can take an hour or so. You can speed up the process by
putting the tank selector valve on the interior tank, turning the water pump on, and opening the outside shower faucet until
no more water comes out. Close the faucet and turn the water pump off.
This kills any bacteria in the tanks before you distribute them through the entire water system.
Second step
You will need a good supply of fresh water and a cup of chlorine bleach.
Close the connecting valve.
Fill the exterior fresh water tank approximately 1/2 full, adding a cup of chlorine bleach halfway through the filling process.

Put the plastic covered tank selector handle in the exterior tank position (pointed toward the driver's side of the vehicle).
Turn on the water pump, and circulate the dilute bleach solution through the entire system. The water heater is still
winterized. Run water out of all three faucets (galley, washroom, and outside shower), hot and cold, until you smell
