HOW TO USE
CARE & CLEANING
• Remove inner pot and lid and wash them in hot soapy water, taking care to rinse
completely, then dry with a soft cloth.
• Clean outside of cooker with a clean damp cloth. Never clean any part of the
cooker with abrasive cleaner. Use a damp cloth or sponge with water and mild
dish detergent. Do not submerge any part of cooker in water. Wash only inner pot
and lid.
• To clean the heating plate and thermo-control plate, use steel wool to polish or
remove any residue. Then wipe with a damp cloth. Allow to dry completely before
re-using. You must keep the heating plate and thermo-control plate free from any
foreign objects, otherwise the cooker will not operate properly.
• Improper cleaning of cooker may cause unpleasant odors.
• Any residue to the vinegar or salt may cause pan to corrode.
• The glass lid and non-stick inner pot of the rice cooker, measuring cup and spatula
hand wash recommend, can simply be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth or sponge.
• The main base of the rice cooker can be cleaned with a damp soapy cloth or
sponge.
NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE OF THE RICE COOKER INTO WATER OR ANY
OTHER LIQUIDS FOR THIS MAY DAMAGE IT SEVERLY!
• Dry thoroughly before storing away the unit.
• NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANSERS OR MATERIALS TO CLEAN ANY PARTS
OF THE RICE COOKER FOR THIS MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACES AND NON-
STICK COATING.
BEFORE STARTING TO COOK, CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE INNER POT AND
THE SURFACE OF THE HEATER PLATE, THEN TURN THE INNER POT
LOCKWISE SO THAT IT SITS PROPERLY ONTO THE HEATER PLATE INSIDE
THE RICE COOKER. OTHERWISE, THE RICE COOKER WILL NOT WORK OR
WILL BE DAMAGED.

Always make sure the unit is in the OFF position and the power cord is
UNPLUGGED before washing any parts of the rice cooker.
LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY
This is the only express warranty for this product. Halex Holdings, LLC, warrants this
product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for single-family
household use for one year from the date of original purchase. Ordinary wear and
tear including damage to the coating surface is excluded. Use of product for anything
other than its intended purpose is also not warranted. We exclude liability for all
consequential damages. Your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of the
nonconforming product, at our option. All liability is limited to purchase price. All other
warranties, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness
for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. You may have legal rights that vary
depending on where you live. For repair or replacement, please contact our team
with information on your product’s proof of purchase and description of the problem.

1. Using the measuring cup provided in the package, measure and add rice to the
inner pot.
2. By measuring cup, add amount water to the rice inside the inner pot according
to the following standard:

3. Set inner pot in cooker. Place rice and water in inner pot. Close the lid firmly.
4. Plug in power cord. Do not plug in until ready to cook. If pot is not in cooker,
cooking will not begin.
5. Press switch. The COOK indicator tells you the cooking has started.
6. When rice is done, the switch will pop up. After the switch pops up, leave covered
for at least 15 minutes to steam rice.
7. Unplug after each use. Grasp the plug, not the cord.
8. When you stew, the water level should not more than 70% of the volume.
9. Do not attach the ventilating hole for fear scalding.
