4.2 Performing glucose control tests
Overview of test procedure A glucose control test using control solution comprises
the following steps:
Select the desired level of control solution for the
test.
Check the lot number of the control solution.
Check the lot number of the test strips.
Perform the test with the control solution.
The result must fall within the specified range (as shown
on the label of the test strip vial or defined per configura-
tion) for the control test to be completed successfully.
Patient tests can now be performed (again).
