3.3.9.2 Loading the output sorter with sorting racks
1. Remove the full or partially-full sorting racks and rack trays from the holders in the
drawers of the output sorter.
2. Put the empty sorting racks in the appropriate positions in the sorting area.
3. Then push the drawer in until you hear it click, and it no longer can be moved.
3.3.9.3 Rack trays
Example: Hitachi rack tray with handle
1. The racks should be level in the rack tray and guided into the guide rail on the bottom of
the tray.

NOTICE
The sample tubes must be completely inserted in the rack until they press the bottom of the rack.
2. Place the rack tray into the designated holder in the sorting area of the input sorter.

3. Make sure that the guiding pins on the bottom of the rack tray are firmly inserted in the
grooves of the holder and that the rack tray is level in the holder.
4. Fold down the handle to the left.
5. Close the drawer.
