Setting up a Run for Purification of Cellular RNA from Cultured Cells.
Performing a Run.
Unloading the Instrument.
For each application the procedures describe:
How to prepare the samples.
How to specify the setup parameters.
Unless otherwise stated, the applications are performed for 96 samples and the default MagNA Pure 96
Plates are used:
The MagNA Pure 96 Processing Cartridge as source plate.
The MagNA Pure 96 Output Plate as target plate.
Preconditions for all runs
A run can only be performed if:
The instrument is started, see section Starting the MagNA Pure 96 Instrument.
The control unit and the MagNA Pure 96 Software are started, see section Starting the MagNA Pure 96
Software.
The instrument is prepared for a run, see section Preparing the MagNA Pure System.
Do not handle any racks until the instrument is switched on.
Take care that reagent trays, bottles, disposables, and instrument parts do not become contaminated,
especially with RNases or DNases.
