3 Performing a Run
After fully loading the instrument and a successfully passed resource check, you can start the purification
run.
3.1 Starting a Run
To start a purification run
Load Check
The load check ensures that
Empty tip trays are present in the waste rack.
The waste cover is present in the waste rack
The tip park position is empty.
If during the load check the MagNA Pure 96 Instrument detects a lack of waste capacity, a message is dis-
played. For more information on the load check, see chapter "Software" in the "MagNA Pure 96 Opera-
tor’s Guide".
3.2 Monitoring the Run
Once you have started the run with the Start button, the MagNA Pure 96 Software displays the Overview
tab with
The start time of the run
The estimated end time of the run
A progress bar indicating the current state of the run

In the global action bar click . The MagNA Pure 96 Instrument starts the load check
