Exchange user-replaceable parts
4 Loosen the blue knurled locking screw at the top of the syringe assembly
that fixes the glass barrel of the syringe by turning it counterclockwise.
5 For the W-syringe, loosen and remove the locking screw completely to
prevent damage to the glass barrel.
6 Pull the plunger down sufficiently so that you can lift out the glass barrel.
Then remove the glass assembly.
7 Carefully pull the syringe assembly out of its mounting block. Support the
glass barrel with one hand; with the other hand, grasp the syringe holder,
lifting it up and out to remove the assembly.
