URISYS 2400 7 General maintenance actions
Exchange user-replaceable parts
9 Perform Air Purge, if necessary more than once, to fill the syringe with
water and to get rid of any remaining air bubbles.
Exchange mains fuses
a To exchange mains fuses
1 Set the main switch to OFF position.
2 Remove the power cord from the power inlet socket of the instrument.
3 Remove the fuse socket located directly below the power inlet socket of the
instrument.
4 Exchange the fuse(s) as necessary.
5 Reinsert the fuse socket.
6 Reinsert the power cord into the power inlet socket of the instrument and
set the main switch to ON.

The top and side tubing retaining nuts can be damaged if excessive force is applied
when replacing them. Take care not to cross-thread these nuts.
Looseness of the retaining nut may result in incorrect data. Tighten the retaining nut
securely by hand while being careful about the packing orientation.
Use only fuses that are specified in this Operator Manual, (see Technical
specifications on page F-2). The use of other fuses is a breach of the warranty.
