External Shunt Module
Connections
Follow these guidelines when wiring your external active or passive shunt
module.

(1) These are the default jumper settings.
When tightening screws to secure the wires, refer to the tables
beginning on page 91
for torque values.
To improve system performance, run wires and cables in the wireways as
established in Chapter
2.

• Verify the internal shunt jumper is in place between RC-2 and RC-3, as
shown in the figure below.
• Verify the thermal switch jumper is in place between TS-1 and TS-2, as
shown in the figure below.

• Remove the internal shunt jumper between RC-2 and RC-3.
• Remove the thermal switch jumper between TS-1 and TS-2
