3.6.4 „DEVICE NAME“
You can allocate a network name to your WLANmaus here. In order to prevent the same na-
mes in the network, this is automatically supplemented with the last six gures or the MAC
address of the WLANmaus. For example: “WLANmaus_A1B2C3“ (Hexadecimal).
3.6.5 „IP-MODE“
Selection possibilities: “DYNAMIC" (pre-set) or “STATIC“.
Selection: using the arrow key, conrmation with the
OK-key, cancel with the OK-key.
“DYNAMIC“: The network information (IP-ADRESSE, SUBNETZMASKE and STD-GATE-WAY) is
automatically obtained from the WLAN router. The obtained information can be
displayed in menus 3.6.6-3.6.8.
“STATIC“: The network information (IP-ADRESSE, SUBNETZMASKE and STD-GATE-WAY)
are to be entered manually. CAUTION: an extended network knowledge is neces
sary! The entry is made in menus 3.6.6-3.6.8.
3.6.6 „IP-ADDRESS“
Display (if IP-MODE = DYNAMIC) or entry (if IP-MODE = STATIC) of the IP address. Clicking
through the four IP positions using the OK-key, changing of the values using the arrow keys
or by using the number keys, you can cancel this by using the STOP-key
3.6.7 „SUBNETMASK“
Display (if IP-MODE = DYNAMIC) or entry (if IP-MODE = STATIC) of the subnetwork mask.

3.6.8 „STD-GATEWAY“
Display (if IP-MODE = DYNAMIC) or entry (if IP-MODE = STATIC) of the standard gateway.

3.6.9 „MAC-ADRESSE“
Information display: displays the MAC address for your WLANmaus. The display can be clicked
through using the OK-key.
3.6.10 „RSSI“
Information display: displays the WLAN signal strength in dBm (decibel milliwatt).
3.7 „TURN-OFF TIME”“
To save battery power of the WLANmaus, the unut switches off automatically after a dened period
of time when not being used.
Value range: 1–255, factory setting: 10 minutes
