1 Introducon to the instrucons and warnings
This manual is intended only for professionally
qualied installers.
No informaon included in this document can be
considered interest for the end-user.
This manual refers to the synchronized photocells
M90/F2ES and M90/F2ESO and must not be used
for any other product.
Read carefully the instrucons before installing.
The installaon must be performed only by technical
qualied sta according to the regulaons in force.
Make connecons with cables appropriate for the
current required and respect the technical features
of the product.
The photocells must work without exploing reexes
and without interfere with other photocells, because
they might seriously prejudice correct funconing.
It is possible that interferences occur between the
pair of not-synchronized photocells with tension
12/24V AC-DC, among more than two pairs of
synchronized photocells with tension 12/24V AC or
with other devices that emit infrared light. Follow all
the precauons to avoid this problem.
To understand the problems of the interferences
and the reexes see picture 4.

2 Product descripon
The synchronized photocells M90/F2ES and
M90/F2ESO are obstacle detectors with infrared
technology, that permits to detect obstacles
posioned on the opcal axis of the transmier
photocell and the receiver photocell. They can be
used for automac entrances, courtesy services
and monitoring steps. In this instrucon the
transmier photocell is called photocell TX, the
receiver photocell is called photocell RX and one
or more pairs of photocells (always composed by
one photocell RX and one photocell TX) are called
“photocells”.
Available versions:
– Fixed version M90/F2ES ideal for installaons
with xing surfaces that are linear and parallel to
each other, and that permit a correct centering
of the photocells.
– Adjustable version M90/F2ESO (210° along
horizontal axis and 15° along vercal axis) ideal
for installaons with xing surfaces that are not
parallel to each other, therefore the adjustable
system allows to create a correct centering
between the photocells.
