There are 5 Range of Motion settings that can be used for rehab or SET training. For rehab you can
vary the starting point of the exercise by lifting the weight arm without weight on it and moving the
ROM lever to the desired notch. In SET training a trainer may vary the starting position of the
exercise while an athlete is lifting to confuse the athlete’s muscles.
Next you sit on the seat with your hands on the side handle bars, and you place your legs so
they are behind the pad with your shins touching the pad. From there you can raise your legs
so they are straight out in front of you, and then let them down. NOTE: Safety stops are
located to avoid rotation of weight arm past full extension of lower leg.
