According to standard 3GPP TS 51.010-1, sections 13.7 and 13.16.2, the power/time
template for multislot configurations coincides with the template for a single GSM burst
except in the guard period between every two consecutive active timeslots, where the
output power shall not exceed the level allowed for the useful part of the first timeslot
or the level allowed for the useful part of the second timeslot plus a multislot guard
level of 3 dB, whichever is the highest. The template for two consecutive 8PSK
modulated timeslots with the same output power is shown below.
