Configuration of Available Network Protocols (TCP/IP Protocol)
When the unit is delivered, the TCP/IP network protocol is factory-set with the IP address 10.0.0.10 and
the subnet mask 255.255.255.0. The steps required to change this configuration and to install further
network protocols are described in this and the following sections.
! Open the Windows XP start menu with the
Windows key or CTRL-ESC.
! Click Settings - Network Connections -
Local Area Connection.
The Local Area Connection Status dialog
will be opened.
Note:
Windows XP appends numbers to the name
Local Area Connection Status (e.g. Local
Area Connection Status 8) if the
configuration is created with the New
Connection Wizard. These numbers are
irrelevant for the following configurations and
are therefore not mentioned in the text.
! Click the Properties button.
The window with the available network
protocols will be opened.
