! If a predefined IP address is to be set
(since no DHCP server is available in the
network), click the entry Use the following
IP address.
! Click the entry IP address and enter the
IP address.
! Then click the entry Subnet mask and
enter the required mask.
Note:
Your network administrator knows which
IP addresses and subnet masks are
suitable for your network.
! Click the OK button. Windows checks
whether the entered settings are correct
and stores the configuration.
If an invalid IP address or subnet mask was
entered, a corresponding error message will
be displayed together with a question as
whether a different address or mask is to be
entered.
! Click the Yes button.
The dialog for entering the TCP/IP
parameters will again be opened.
If all settings are correct, the request to start
the unit again will be displayed depending on
the changed settings.
! Click the Yes button.
Windows will restart the system.
