Error explanation

Error during execution of the command.
-211, “Trigger Ignored” A trigger is igored when e.g. it occurs before the
measuring time has elapsed. This can happen
when the trigger time is smaller than the
measuring time.

There is a settings conflict between two
parameters.

The parameter value is outside the permissible
range of the instrument.

The command requires more storage for data
than is available. E.g. A list of frequencies may
only contain 5 elements, and the command tries
to add a sixth.

Hardware error is not further specified.

The command cannot be executed due to
missing hardware. Example: An option is not
installed.
-292,"Referenced name
does not exist"
An unknown name was sent as a parameter.
Example: An unknown file name is to be
deleted, MMEM:RDIR “Flubber”

The name is defined twice. Example: An file
already exists.

This error code is entered into the queue instead
of the actual error code if the queue is full. It
indicates that an error has occurred but not been
accepted. The queue can accept 5 entries.
