In the R&S SGMA-GUI main panel, the green indicator indicates a connection
between the instrument and the remote PC. It also indicates that the software rec-
ognizes the instrument.
5. To restore the default configuration of this instrument, select "Instrument Name >
Preset".
6. Select "SGMA-GUI main panel > R&S SGS > Extension".
The "Extension" dialog opens.
Tip: Instrument does not appear in the extension dialog. If the R&S SGU is not
automatically shown in this dialog, press "Scan > Start" to find the instrument.
7. Select the R&S SGU from the list.
8. Set "Available Instruments > Select > On" to enable it as an extension.
A green status indicator "Connected" indicates the successfully established remote
connection between the R&S SGS ant the R&S SGU. The R&S SGMA-GUI indi-
cates the extended frequency range of the R&S SGS and the activated extension
mode.
