3. Select "Global Connector Settings > Routing".
4. For "User 2", select "Direction > Input" and "Signal > Global Trigger".
The instrument expects an external global trigger event. In the current configura-
tion, the "Global Trigger" signal has to be supplied at the input connector User 2.
The Trigger/Marker/Clock status LEDs in the block diagram confirm that an exter-
nal trigger signal is selected; the signal generation is however stopped.
