Phase Modulation Menu
To open the "Phase Modulation" menu, select "RF/A Mod > Configure > Phase Modula-
tion" or use the MENU key under "RF/A Mod".
The lower section of the combined menu Frequency/Phase Modulation provides access
to the phase modulation settings.
The upper section provides access to the frequency modulation, see chapter 5.5.11.4,
"Frequency Modulation (FM)", on page 238
State
Activates/deactivates PhiM modulation.
Activation of PhiM deactivates frequency modulation.

PhiM Source
Selects the source for the PhiM signal.
"Internal"
Selects the internal LF generator as the source for PhiM modulation.
"External"
Selects the external source.
The external signal is input via the EXT MOD connector.
"Internal +
External"
Selects the internal and external source at the same time.

PhiM Mode
Selects the mode for the phase modulation.
