Set to Default
Presets the signal routing in the baseband section and the fading configuration to the
default state.

Mode
Switches between standard and advanced mode.
Execute "Apply" to trigger the instrument to adopt the selected configuration.
"Standard"
Provided for non-MIMO configuration.
"Advanced"
Depending on the installed hardware and software options, enables
the configuration of:

Complex MxN MIMO scenarios with up to 8 Tx or Rx antennas,
e.g. 4x4, 2x8, or 8x2 MIMO
●
multiple entity scenarios with up to four standalone 2x2 MIMO
systems, e.g. 4x2x2 scenarios
●
Up to 8 SISO systems, e.g. 8x1x1 scenarios

Enables the R&S SMW to work as a radar echo generator.
The fading simulator is disabled.

Signal Outputs
Defines whether an analog and digital or digital only signal is generated.
"Analog&Digital"
In this default mode, the instrument generates signals with high data
rate.
Generated streams can be mapped to the analog connectors and to
the digital I/Q interfaces.
