CREATING DIFFERENT
TUNINGS: KEYBOARD SCALE
а) Press and hold the KBD SCALE
button (13). The displav shows
“SCL”.
b) While holding this button, press
the key whose pitch you wish to
lower by a quarter tone (50
cents).
The display will show “-50”
meaning that the note has been
lowered by 50 cents (1/4 tone).
Press the same key again to
return to the original tuning
(indicated by a “OFF” in the
display) of that note.
c) Release the KBD SCALE button
(13).
The pitch of the notes selected with
the above procedure will be
lowered by a quarter tone with
respect to equal temperament (usual
tuning).
Any changes in tuning you set for
one note of an octave will
automatically be set for all other
notes of the same name (ie. in all
octaves).
It is also possible to choose a tuning
different from the standard one (-50
cents): whenever the value '-50' is
displayed, you can change it by
means of the TEMPO/DATA (27)
buttons.
Using the set tuning:
Press the KBD SCALE button (13)
again; the corresponding indicator
lights and all tune variations
previously set are recalLED.
To cancel the tuning you set:
Press the KBD button (13) again; the
indicator goes off and the E-28
returns to its preset tuning (equal
temperament).
ANDERN DER
TASTATUR-SKALA
a) Halten Sie den KBD SCALE-Taster
(13) gedrückt. Im Display
erscheint nun die Meldung ‘SCL’.
b) Halten Sie KBD SCALE weiterhin
gedrückt und drücken Sie die
Taste auf dem Manual, deren
Tonhöhe um einen Viertelton
gesenkt werden soll.
Im Display erscheint nun der
Wert "—50", um Sie darauf
hinzuweisen, daf die Tonhóhe
um 50 Cent ( 1 Viertelton)
gesenkt wurde.
Wenn Sie diese Taste noch
einmal drücken, wird wieder der
Wert "0" (Normalstimmung)
angezeigt.
C) Lassen Sie danach den KBD
SCALE-Taster (13) los.
Die veránderten Noten liegen in der
Tonhóhe um einen Viertelton
niedriger als die wohltemperierte
Stimmung (die ab Werk vorgegeben
ist).
Die Stimmungsänderung einer Note
gilt automatisch für alle
gleichnamigen Noten in den übrigen
Oktaven.
Sie brauchen nicht unbedingt den
vorgegebenen Wert
(-50) zu verwenden: Wenn im
Display erst einmal der Wert "—50"
angezeigt wird, können Sie die
Stimmung der zuletzt gewählten
Note mit den TEMPO/DATA-Tastern
(27) manuell ándern.
Aktivieren der veränderten
Stimmung:
Drücken Sie KBD SCALE (13) noch
einmal. Die dazugehórige LED
leuchtet nun, um anzuzeigen, daß
wieder die zuvor eingestellten
Scale-Wert aufgerufen werden.
Anwahl der wohltemperierten
Stimmung:
Drücken Sie KBD SCALE (13) noch
einmal. Die dazugehörige LED
erlischt nun und der E-28 kehrt
wieder zur wohltemperierten
Stimmung zurück.

DIFFERENTS TEMPERAMENTS
(KEYBOARD SCALE)
a) Pressez et tenez enfoncé le
bouton KBD SCALE (13).
L'afficheur indiquera “SCL”.
b) En tenant enfoncċ le bouton,
pressez sur le clavier la note que
vous désirez diminuer d’un quart
de ton.
L'afficheur indiquera “-50”.
L'hauteur de chaque demi-ton de
la gamme tempérée peut être
abaissée de 50 centièmes (un
quart de ton).
Pressez à nouveau la même
touche, l'afficheur indiquera la
valeur “0”; la variation est
desactivée.
с) Après cette procédure, relachez
le bouton KBD SCALE (13).
Les notes sélectionnées avec la
procédure ci-dessus seront produites
un quart de ton au dessous de la
hauteur voulue par un tempérament
égal.
Toutes les altérations accomplies ici
pour une octave sont répercutées
sur les autres octaves.
Il est possible choisir une variation
differente de celle standard (-50).
Pour activer le tempérament
programmé:
Pressez le bouton KBD SCALE (13),
la diode correspondante s'allume.
Pour annuller la procedure
effectuée:
Pressez à nouveau le bouton KBD
SCALE (13), la diode s'éteint et le
tempérament redevient égal.
