Connect stereo headphones (8-
1509) to this jack if you wish to
play without disturbing those
around you.
10) BENDER/MODULATION Lever
Push the Bender/Modulation Lever
(10) away from you to add Vibrato
or Tremolo.
Move it to the right and to the left
to raise and to lower the pitch.
11) VOLUME Slider
This slider controls the overall
volume of the instrument. It also
controls headphone volume when
phones are connected.
12) MUSIC STYLE Chart
This handy reference allows you to
easily find the number of the Music
Style you want. (There are 64 Music
Styles in the E-38’s memory.)
13) TONE Chart
The E-38 contains 64 Tones in
Group ‘A’ (with 64 variations), and
64 Tones in Group ‘b’. Use this
chart to locate the Tone you wish to
use in a given situation.
14) DRUM VARIATION Buttons
Use these buttons to modify the
Drum accompaniment in real time
by removing or adding drum and
percussion instruments.

daß Sie den gewünschten Klang
möglichst schnell finden.
