tab

set
to
the
PROTECT
position.
Remove
the
disk
from
the
drive,
disable
its
write
protection
and
press
Part
Select
[M.DRUMS]
(Retry).
If
you
don’t
want
to
save
data
to
this
disk,
press
Part
Select
[UPPER2]
(Abort).

This
message
means
the
same
as
the
previous
one.
Only,
this
time,
it
will
disappear
automat-
ically.
That
is
why
there
is
no
Retry
or
Abort
function.

protection

Part
Select
[M.DRUMS]

load
data

disk,
press
Part
Select
[UPPER2]
(Abort).
A UNFORMATTED Disk
The
disk
you
have
inserted
into
the
drive
is
not
formatted.
If
you
want
to
format
it
now,
press
Part
Select
[M.DRUMS]
(Format).
Otherwise,
press
Part
Select
[UPPER2]
(Exit).
A UNKNOWN Disk Format
The
disk
you
have
inserted
into
the
drive
is
formatted,
yet
the
G-800
cannot
read
this
format.
Press
Part
Select
[UPPER2]
(Exit),
and
remove
the
disk
from
the
drive.
If
you
are
positive
that
you
no
longer
need
the
data
on
this
disk,
format
it
using
the
Format
function
(see
page 106).
