Playing Songs and Recording Your Performances
Opening the Song screen
1.
Press the [Song] button.
The song screen will appear.
Selecting a song
1.
In the song screen, press the [F1 (MEDIA)] button to
select the media on which the desired song is saved.
If the [F1 (MEDIA)] button is not shown, check whether the
[Function] button is turned off.
2.
Turn the [Value] dial to select a song.
Playing and stopping the song
1.
Press the [F3 (PLAY)] button.
The song will start playing, and the playback position indication will
advance.

To stop the song, press the [F3 (STOP)] button.

To select songs in a folder
1. Use the [Value] dial to select the folder.
An icon will appear.
2. Press the [Enter] button.
The songs in that folder will appear.
3. Use the [Value] dial to select a song.
To exit that folder, use the [Value] dial to select “Up” and then
press the [Enter] button.
If a single folder contains more than 500 files or folders,
some of the files or folders might not be shown.
If the following screen appears
A screen like the one shown below will appear if you attempt
to select a different song without saving the previously-
recorded performance.
If you press the [F4 (OK)] button, the previously recorded
performance will be erased.
If you don’t want to lose the previously recorded performance,
press the [F1 (CANCEL)] button to return to the previous
screen, and save your performance (p. 54).
