2. Piano Practice Using the HP 3800G/2800G
Since a disk drive is contained in the HP 3800G/2800G, you can enjoy playing back commercially availa
data.
Before using disks, please read “Handling Floppy Disks” (p. 5).
Using the Disk Drive to Listen to Some Songs
1. Insert a disk into the disk drive.
The disk drive on the HP 3800G is located at the far right side of its panel. The disk drive on the HP
2800G is located at the far right. below the keyboard.
Make sure you have the right side of the disk facing upwards (lavel side up).

2. Press , cm to select a song.
When selecting songs recorded on disk, the DISK SONG indicator lights up (will light).

3. Press , and the song will start playing.

4. Press , and the song will stop playing.

5. Press ny to have songs play consecutively, much like on a CD player. (refer
to page 8)
* While a disk is inserted, you will not be able to select any of the internal demo songs.
* Ifan error (such as shown below) has been displayed after inserting a disk, or while a song is play-
ing, refer to the Error Table on page 40, 41.

* After you have pressed , or have pressed and entered recording standby, the panel

buttons will not respond while the DISK SONG indicator continues flashing. You will need to wait
until the DISK SONG indicator has gone out, then press whatever buttons you need.
