The cutting carriage moves to a location where blade replace-
ment is possible, and then the screen shown in the gure
appears.
Open the front cover.
Preparations are complete when this screen ap-
pears.

Replace the separating knife.
Remove the separating knife.
Loosen the screw until it slips out.
Grasp the screw portion, and slowly
pull it out in the direction of the arrow.
When doing this, do not pull it back
toward you.
Install a new knife.
The knife is secured in place by the
magnet.
Slowly insert it into the groove.
